During the course you will learn the Iowa Real Estate Commission prescribed course of study including; Law of Agency, Real Estate Law & Conveyancing, Legal Descriptions and Zoning, Trust Accounts & Closing Statements, Real Estate Insurance, Iowa License Law & Commission Rules, Law of Contracts, Fair Housing, Appraising, Financing of Real Estate, Real Estate Mathematics, and Taxation. This course will help prepare you to take the Iowa Real Estate Licensing Exam.

Zoom Registration - Books will be shipped UPS the week before class begins. You will receive the Zoom link in the class reminders.
You will need to have extra highlighters. Camera & Microphone required in order to receive class credit. Zoom participants must be seated with camera on as if you were attending in person.

All students must attend all 60 hours in order to receive a completion certificate for testing. Missed attendance will be transferred to the next available 60 Hour Prelicense course scheduled on the IAR website. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Travis Hiatt
Travis has been licensed since 2003 and a Real Estate Broker since 2007. Travis has worked as an agent, broker, manager, CEO/Team Leader, regional manager, and trainer for years in Iowa. Travis now owns and operates his own company NextHomeBeyond. Travis has taught courses for agents of all types from brand new to seasoned vets on everything from 60-hour Pre-License courses to broker classes for continuing education. Travis loves courses that make people think of things a little different or a little deeper. Travis loves technology and understands the importance of teaching new techniques of interacting with both agents and clients in those respects. IAR reserves the right to cancel any class for any reason; including but not limited to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, and closings due to severe weather. Please remember that cancellations or closings should be rare events. In the event of cancellation, registered participants will have the option of a full refund, full credit, or a reserved seat in the next available class at no additional cost.

CANCELLATION by a student, if requested no later than two full days before scheduled course date, will qualify for a full refund. If class cancellation is requested any later than 48 hours prior to class, the refund will be less a $25.00 cancellation fee. Members may log in to the My Account section of our website to cancel a class and receive the appropriate refund. NO SHOWS will be charged the full amount of the course.

Students may RESCHEDULE at no additional cost to attend any future class that is conducted within 90 days of original course date. Requests must be made no later than 72 hours before originally scheduled course time. NO SHOWS will be charged the full amount of the course. If they choose to reschedule they must pay the full price of the course again.

LATE ARRIVALS: In accordance with the Real Estate Commission's Administrative rules, successful completion of continuing education requires full–time attendance throughout the program, course or activity. A student who arrives late, leaves during class or leaves early shall not receive a certificate and such circumstance will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be granted.
